Responsibilities

  • Lead customer-facing technical requirements sessions
  • Exercise your Salesforce expertise to design and implement technical solutions (including mobile applications) for clients, providing various solution options and informed opinions on recommended approaches
  • Exercise leadership skills to mentor, guide and train a diverse team of developers and technical consultants and ensure on-time project delivery
  • Be hands on in the software development process and lead by example producing clean, well structured and architected code and/or declarative configuration to fulfil business requirements
  • Manage customer expectations, influence customer perception, and apply strategic thinking for long-term customer success
  • Take ownership of high-risk or critical situations
  • Translate business language into technical requirements (and vice versa)
  • Create mock-ups, data models, slide presentations, pseudo code, and process flows
  • Perform Data Migrations from source to target system including: data strategy, data mapping, SQL scripts and ETL processes
  • Integrate Salesforce.com with various other systems using standard ETL tools (e.g. Informatica Cloud, Boomi, Cast Iron, Pervasive, Jitterbit) or custom integration solutions
  • Produce quality deliverables and mitigate risks within hard deadlines under minimal guidance

Required Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent 
  • 5-7 years of technical experience
  • 3-5 years of technical consulting/client-facing experience
  • extensive CRM experience (front and back end) and Enterprise software systems
  • Strong data background with thorough understanding of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, data optimization
  • Strong integration experience: ETL tools, various integration endpoints (CRM, ERP, BI, Data warehouse)
  • Extensive experience with industry standard programming languages including Java, .NET, HTML5, CSS3, JS, Apex, Visualforce
  • Good working knowledge of information security best practices in development and operational settings
  • Cloud computing experience
  • Demonstrated deployments of increasing responsibility in team management, delivery of projects, and mentoring staff
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes
  • Ability to organize and lead client sessions to distill requirements from non-technical resources into clearly defined technical requirements
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, including the ability to communicate with leadership at the executive level
  • 5+ years Salesforce experience and associated certifications strongly preferred
  • While Salesforce experience is ideal, if you’re a Java or .NET guru, are able to quickly adapt to new technologies and have an insatiable appetite for learning, we can offer training
