Developer - Internship with potential to full-time (for Graduates)

Duration: 8-month internship to full-time permanent

In this role, you would work closely with project managers on project implementations, custom development, data migrations and integrations.  You would use your classroom and real-world experience to help leverage the full potential of CRM technology to meet clients' strategic and business objectives as well as create and enhance internal processes for Groundswell.

Responsibilities

  • Help build client-specific solutions on the Force.com platform using Apex/Visual Force (similar to Java or C#/ASP.NET), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, Backbone, AJAX
  • Translate business requirements into functional and actionable software within the Salesforce environment
  • Support QA and testing processes and be accountable for your work and results
  • Document designs, issues, solutions, tips and tricks as needed
  • Create mock-ups, data models, slide presentations, pseudo code, and process flows
  • Help perform Data Migrations from source to target system including: data strategy, data mapping, SQL scripts and ETL processes
  • Integrate Salesforce.com with various other systems using standard ETL tools (e.g. Informatica Cloud, Boomi, Cast Iron, Pervasive, Jitterbit)
  • Build custom interfaces, reports, dashboards on top of the Force.com platform
  • Produce quality deliverables within hard deadlines
  • Contribute to internal strategic projects

  • Programming languages: Salesforce APEX, Visualforce, Java, C#, Visual Basic, Javascript, Ruby, Python, PHP or similar
  • Databases: Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, DB2, Informix or similar
Hands-on experience* with at least two of the following:
  • Web related technologies¬† Libraries: HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, SOAP, REST, OAuth, Node.js or similar
You should have:
  • Projects you have done in your spare time (e.g. a cool web app, game, mobile app, website you built when you were at school)
  • Contributions to open source projects or work you've done for other organisations
  • Work you've done with cloud services (e.g. Salesforce.com, Heroku, AppFog, AWS, Azure)
  • Interesting technical projects you've done while studying
*Experience can be in the classroom, your own projects, or work you've done for other organisations
